4 Years To 4 oz...

In 2015 I was living on Maui’s North Shore. Growing our own fruits and vegetables, one morning I had nothing ripe for my smoothie other than a banana. Knowing the day ahead was filled with trails, surf, yoga, and more, I needed real substance to sustain me. So I took the banana, added some peanut butter, and out of pure desperation I picked the mushrooms and onions out of the leftover purple sweet potato dish I made for dinner the night before and tossed it in the blender. Little did I know that would change everything… Not only was it the tastiest smoothie I have ever had, it kept me going all day long. So I scratched my head and asked myself what else…


At this point in my life I had been eating super clean for years, and had started missing the comforts of tasty foods like bread and ice cream, but was so committed to feeling the power of food, and did not want that to be compromised. Being self diagnosed with what I call OCD (obsessive creative disorder) the obsession kicked in and I began devoting all of my free time to experimenting in the kitchen. Thousands upon thousands of samples and batches later to get the perfect base that is the foundation of all our products not just an ingredient…


August of 2018 I packed up my car, left a long career in the apparel industry to turn this concept I had been benefiting off of into something for the world to enjoy. Fueled by passion, purpose, and purple, with complete disregard of practicality I knew this is what I had to do to make it happen.


And now 4 years later almost to the day we are launching with the first evolution of that morning in Maui with our 4 oz energy cups. Which captures everything that got me hooked years ago  by that transformative smoothie. The lasting energy, satisfying taste, and amazing adaptability all with the nutritional boosts of a true superfood as it’s base...
